For windows users, start up windows in safe mode or disable (stop) the anydesk service via services.msc, delete the directories, then reenable the service. I've been using anydesk regularly for a couple months now, and it's been working very well. So this is a relatively recent thing & nothing was changed that i know in any of my anydesk settings when it started.
