While windows 11 includes several power modes tailored for power consumption and performance balancing, some hidden features can unlock even higher performance. Thankfully, an ultimate power plan command for the command line (cmd) allows you to use ultimate performance mode also in other editions, such as home and pro. Ultimate performance is not present on the standard pro and home editions of microsoft windows, but you can activate it through the command prompt or windows.

The ultimate performance plan is available in windows 10, but it seems to no longer be available in windows 11.
As of the windows 10 spring creators update you can now choose from balanced, high performance, power saver, and the hidden ultimate performance plan.
