Michaela is the traditional spelling, and is less common than mikayla and makayla. Looking for names similar to layla. I completely agree and was coming here to post the same thing.

What names that come from/are related to your own names would you name your kid if you weren’t named your own name? I really like [name_f]olive[/name_f] but would never. Looking for girls’ names with long “a” sound to go with [name]raymond [/name], [name]kayla [/name], and [name]aiden [/name]. She loves the name [name]isla[/name] but is concerned the spelling isn’t very intuitive.
Also for names that would go with layla being a middle name. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Lincoln, rhys, samuel, lowell, magnus. Plus it is visually distinct.
